Drought is leaving but prices stay on rise
The Yangtze River Basin has suffered from drought since the beginning of 2011. The paddy production is a little affected. Early paddy planting area in Hubei and Anhui provinces declined. Unit yield in the dry areas would reduce by 2%-5% compared to normal level.
